WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR ROOT CHAKRA IS OUT OF BALANCE?

When this chakra isn’t active enough or balanced correctly, we can experience a number of difficulties: insecurity about finances or safety; a feeling that our needs are never met; being too materialistic; an inability to set boundaries between oneself and others; sexual dysfunction; addictions (to drugs or alcohol for example).

If your root chakra is blocked or not working well, then there may be a sense of feeling “unseen” and out-of-touch with what’s going on around you. Your mental clarity will decrease as well as any physical ailments that are related to being ungrounded such as aches and pains in various parts of the body. You also might find yourself overreacting easily because you’re unable to ground down when emotions come up – like anger for example.

When this happens, cedarwood essential oil may help you get your focus on where it needs to be – moving forward with confidence instead of feeling stuck in place without any sense of direction. In addition, its rich woodsy aroma will also create an uplifting sensation as well as provide emotional support when times are tough.

FRANKINCENSE

Frankincense essential oil may be a helpful tool for balancing the root chakra as it has been shown to relax muscles and reduce anxiety, which are common symptoms of imbalance in this energy center. Frankincense comforting scent can stimulate feelings of peace and calm—helping you feel more grounded and at ease with your surroundings.

MYRRH

Myrrh has a grounding, calming, and cooling effect on all three of your energy centers: the upper, middle, and lower chakras. It also helps relieve anxiety and negative thoughts so you can shift into a more positive state of mind that will allow for better decision-making in life.
